WHAT IS SIHR?

UNDERSTANDING BLACK MAGIC ITS ORIGIN, STRUCTURE & MECHANISM

The Arabic word Sihr comes from the root letters which linguistically means “something hidden” or “subtle and secretive”. It refers to the manipulation of unseen forces in a way that is not apparent to the human eye. The essence of sihr is deception  something that happens behind the veil, yet its impact reaches deep into the soul, body, and surroundings of its victim.

In classical Arabic, “sahara” also refers to the time just before dawn, when darkness begins to fade  symbolizing a mysterious, hidden shift. This is exactly how sihr operates: it exists in the shadows, manipulates the unseen, and causes real damage without the physical eyes perceiving the source.

Black magic, known in Arabic as Sihr, is one of the darkest and most destructive forms of evil found in human history. It involves invoking jinn and devils to cause harm, manipulation, or control over people’s lives, bodies, emotions, and surroundings. Sihr is a reality that has been acknowledged in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and its dangers are spiritual, psychological, physical, and social. The origins of black magic trace back far before the time of Harut and Marut, even before they were sent as a trial to the people of Babylon.

In ancient times, before the descent of Harut and Marut, the knowledge of sorcery and dark arts was inspired by the whisperings of devils (shayateen). After the fall of Iblees from paradise, he vowed to misguide mankind, and one of his greatest weapons became the teaching of sihr through his followers from the jinn. The devils climbed to the lower heavens and stole bits of information from the angels, then twisted it and conveyed it to human sorcerers in exchange for shirk (polytheism) and disobedience to Allah. These early practitioners of black magic would offer sacrifices, engage in impure acts, or write taweez (amulets) filled with kufr (disbelief) to gain favor from these jinn.

The mechanism of sihr is built upon binding contracts between a magician and a devil. The human magician commits acts of blasphemy, writes Qur’anic verses in filth, walks backwards into masjids, or desecrates the name of Allah. In return, the jinn agrees to carry out a task such as causing illness, breaking a marriage, inducing fear, or creating love and lust. These are not illusions sihr alters perception, emotions, and even physical conditions.

The Qur’an states in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102): “They followed what the devils gave out during the reign of Suleman. It was not Suleman who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic…”

One of the most significant references to sihr in Islamic history is the story of Prophet Musa (Moses), peace be upon him. When he confronted the magicians of Pharaoh, they threw their ropes and staffs, and the illusion made people believe they were moving like snakes.

Allah says in Surah Taha (20:66): “Suddenly it seemed to him their ropes and staffs were slithering due to their magic.”

But what they did was not true transformation  it was sihr of the eyes (illusion), a type of magic used to trick perception. When Musa threw his staff, it became a real serpent, consuming what they had fabricated, proving the superiority of divine miracles over sihr.

Later, during the time of Babylon, Allah sent Harut and Marut, two angels, to test the people. These angels were sent with knowledge of sihr, but they warned every person, “We are only a trial, so do not disbelieve.” However, many disobeyed and learned from them how to create discord between spouses and families. This marked the rise of systematic black magic structured knowledge of sihr that spread among people, distorting society from within.

The effects of sihr are devastating. Victims may experience severe depression, chronic illnesses, nightmares, relationship breakdowns, financial problems, loss of faith, suicidal thoughts, and isolation. Sometimes the effects are visible, like unexplained bruises, hair loss, or abnormal behaviour, while in other cases, it’s hidden and only unfolds through ruqyah or sincere repentance and worship.

Sihr is a major sin, and its practice is an act of disbelief. It leads a person away from the mercy of Allah and directly into the hands of Shaytan. The protection against sihr lies in firm belief in Allah, daily recitation of morning and evening adhkar, and seeking treatment through authentic ruqyah shar’iah. No power in the universe can overpower the will of Allah, and no sihr can harm except by His permission.

The spiritual library must continue to educate the ummah that black magic is real, destructive, and against the core teachings of Islam, but with strong faith, patience, and trust in Allah, its harm can be undone, and healing can begin.

WHAT IS SIHR, SPELL, CURSE, RITUAL, AND CHARM IN ISLAM? ARE THEY ALL THE SAME?

In the Islamic worldview, sihr (black magic) is an umbrella term that refers to all actions, pacts, and spiritual manipulations done through forbidden means, often involving jinn, devils, or occult forces. While sihr includes spells, curses, rituals, and charms, each of these has a specific role and function within the broader system of magic. Sihr is the core act of rebellion against Allah ﷻ, rooted in shirk, deception, and hidden knowledge passed down by corrupted humans and jinn. Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102), “But the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic…”

Spell (or incantation): A spell is a verbal formula or chant uttered to activate or summon specific outcomes such as love, harm, death, control, or misguidance. In Islam, spells are haram because they often involve invoking jinn, calling on false deities, or using inverted verses of the Qur’an. According to Ibn Kathir, spells are “words uttered in a hidden way that manipulate jinn or hidden forces to obey the will of the magician.”

Curse (La’nah or spiritual condemnation): A curse is a spoken or written invocation that asks for misfortune or divine punishment upon someone. While believers may make du’a against an oppressor, a curse in sihr is done by aligning with shayateen to spiritually corrupt, block rizq, cause infertility, or even death. Curses can linger for generations if not broken by ruqyah and sincere tawbah.

Ritual (Taqdeem or spiritual offering): A ritual is the physical act or process of preparing the sihr. This may involve:

  1. Slaughtering animals without saying Bismillah
  2. Walking backward around graves
  3. Using menstrual blood, urine, or black thread
  4. Reading inverted Qur’anic verses

These rituals are a contract with jinn. The magician “pays” the shayateen through filthy acts so they carry out the desired spell. Imam Al-Dhahabi said, “Whoever does rituals to please devils has exited the fold of Islam.”

Charm (Taweez or amulet): A charm is a physical object like a taweez, bone, cloth bundle, or ring used to store the magic and connect the jinn to the victim. Not all taweez are haram, but most in black magic contain symbols, jinn names, star charts, or inverted Qur’an. These act like spiritual antennas, transmitting energy and influence. Destroying them is often key to breaking sihr.

Why It Matters in Ruqyah:

  1. Knowing the difference helps you:
  2. Understand how sihr was done
  3. Identify where the contract lies (taweez, ritual site, etc.)
  4. Know what to destroy: a taweez alone won’t stop the spell if the ritual still binds the jinn
  5. Deeper Dimensions of Sihr (Black Magic): Roots, Mechanisms, and Its Destructive Power.

SIHR VS. MIRACLE IN ISLAM: THE DIVINE DISTINCTION ACCORDING TO SCHOLARS

In Islamic understanding the difference between sihr (black magic) and mu’jizah (miracle) is essential for distinguishing between divine truth and deceptive illusion. A mu’jizah is a supernatural act performed by a prophet by the will and permission of Allah ﷻ, intended to confirm the truth of his prophethood and bring people closer to guidance. On the other hand, sihr is a corrupt and unlawful act facilitated by the cooperation between human magicians and jinn or devils, often involving shirk (associating partners with Allah), kufr (disbelief), and forbidden rituals.

As Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) explains, “Magic is a form of shirk and an alliance with the devils, while the miracle is a sign of Allah’s mercy and power granted to His prophets to manifest the truth.”

The Qur’an makes this distinction clear when it recounts the confrontation between Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and the magicians of Pharaoh. The magicians used illusion and trickery, making ropes appear like moving snakes, but when Musa threw his staff by Allah’s command, it transformed into a real serpent and devoured their falsehood (Surah Taha, 20:69).

The scholars such as Imam Al-Qurtubi highlight that miracles always align with divine law, never involve sin, and never contradict the teachings of Islam. Sihr, however, is rooted in deception, impurity, and the manipulation of reality to cause fear, separation, illness, or even death. While a miracle strengthens faith and confirms the truth, magic causes confusion, spiritual harm, and is a tool of enmity and destruction.

Importantly, as stated in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102), magic cannot harm anyone except by Allah’s permission making it clear that all outcomes, whether miraculous or magical, are ultimately subject to the decree and wisdom of Allah ﷻ. Scholars unanimously agree that the miracle uplifts and purifies the soul, while sihr corrupts, deceives, and destroys.

HOW SIHR BLOCKS RIZQ, CAUSES DEATH, OR INFERTILITY

Sihr can block rizq (sustenance) by placing veils over the person’s face or name. Employers feel distant or irritated without knowing why. Deals collapse at the last moment. Customers vanish. The victim becomes invisible to opportunities even though they’re qualified and trying hard.

Death through sihr can happen when strong jinn are commanded to attack the heart, brain, or internal organs. While doctors find no cause, the victim’s energy drains until they collapse. Many unexplained sudden deaths, strokes, or heart attacks are deeply tied to sihr. The jinn may attack vital organs, especially if the person is already weak spiritually.

Infertility through sihr happens when the womb is spiritually closed, or the jinn dwell inside and interfere with conception. Sometimes during ruqyah, patients feel movement in their uterus or heaviness in the lower abdomen a clear sign the jinn are residing there. Repeated miscarriages or inability to conceive despite perfect medical reports can indicate this type.

Illusions: Seeing What’s Not There

  1. One of the most deceptive elements of sihr is that victims start seeing illusions or feel things that others can’t perceive. They may:
  2. See people turning into monsters
  3. Witness shadows, animals, or creatures in the dark
  4. Hear voices calling them or mocking them
  5. See spiders, snakes, or insects crawling but nothing is there
  6. These are not hallucinations they are visions inserted into the mind by the jinn under the influence of sihr. Their goal is to break the person’s mental strength and isolate them.

HOW SIHR CAN DESTROY A PERSON’S LIFE

  1. Emotionally, the victim feels numb, disconnected, unloved. Friendships die. Family turns away.
  2. Mentally, the person loses focus, becomes forgetful, or develops severe anxiety and depression.
  3. Physically, they are always tired, in pain, or falling ill.
  4. Socially, they lose jobs, marriage proposals, or respect in the community.
  5. Spiritually, they stop praying, doubt Allah’s mercy, and fall into darkness.

It doesn’t destroy with fire  it destroys silently, layer by layer, until the person feels empty and broken. Yet, the key to freedom is always near: sincere tawbah, Qur’an, ruqyah, and trusting Allah.Sihr is real, but it is not more powerful than the will of Allah. The darkness of sihr can never overcome the light of the Qur’an. It is a weapon of the cowardly, used by those who ally with shayateen. But for the believer who clings to tawheed, sabr, and dhikr, there is always hope, healing, and victory.

THE POWER OF DU’A VS. SIHR: LIGHT OVER DARKNESS

In the battle between du’a (supplication) and sihr (black magic, spells, curses, rituals), the true believer holds the most powerful weapon direct connection with Allah ﷻ. While sihr is rooted in deception, evil pacts with jinn, and spiritual corruption, du’a is pure, divine, and unstoppable. Magic may try to harm, confuse, or block rizq, but a sincere du’a rises above the heavens and when it is made from a broken heart in the depth of night, it can shatter the strongest spell, break curses, and reverse unseen harm.

Allah says in Surah Ghafir (40:60): “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” Sihr needs darkness, impurity, and secrecy but du’a thrives in light, sincerity, and tawakkul. The magician calls upon devils; the believer calls upon Al-Qahhaar, the Irresistible One. Du’a is not weak  it is a divine shield that no jinn, curse, or ritual can penetrate when Allah commands, “Be,” and it is.

Its goal is destruction, confusion, and disconnection from Allah. The only real cure lies in pure tawheed, regular adhkar, Qur’an, ruqyah shar’iyyah, and complete reliance on Allah.

No matter how many types of sihr exist, their power is temporary and weak before the might of Allah, the Most High.

What Is Regenerative Sihr – A Deep Unseen Reality

Regenerative sihr (Arabic: As-Sihr Al-Mutajaddid) is one of the most dangerous and complex forms of black magic, and very few people even some experienced raaqis understand its full depth. Unlike common sihr which is done once and wears off with ruqyah or taweez removal, regenerative sihr is a repeating, self-renewing system that keeps coming back even after healing.

  • Definition & Meaning
  • Regenerative sihr refers to sihr that: Rebuilds itself after being broken.
  • Reactivates through a spiritual or programmed mechanism.
  • Is renewed either by the magician, the jinn, or a coded instruction within the original sihr itself.
  • It is like a virus with self-repairing code.

Structure and Spiritual Mechanism

  • How It Regenerates: Timed Activation (Chrono-Sihr): Set to trigger after specific intervals e.g., every 7 days, every full moon, or after each ruqyah session.
  • Backup Contracts with Multiple Jinns: If one group of jinn is expelled, another is already contracted to replace them.
  • Energy-Based Anchors in the Home or Body: Certain taweez, cursed items, or bodily jinn implants act like repeaters broadcasting the spell again and again unless destroyed at the root.
  • Magician’s Remote Access: The magician continues to renew the sihr from afar using your name, mother’s name, personal belongings, or photo usually done from a shrine or graveyard.
  • Trigger Conditions (Cause-Based): The sihr regenerates when:
  • Victim argues with a spouse
  • Misses fajr or skips dhikr
  • Visits a certain person/place
  • Does something sinful (like music or zina) These “triggers” are coded by jinn in the original sihr script.

SYMPTOMS UNIQUE TO REGENERATIVE SIHR

  • These are different from normal sihr:
  • You feel better after ruqyah, but then relapse quickly.
  • You keep finding taweez repeatedly in the home or clothes.
  • Same dreams and symptoms reoccur in cycles.
  • Medicines and ruqyah lose effect after a few days.
  • Your problems restart after healing as if “reset.”
  • Jinn reveal under pressure: “You expelled my brother, I am his replacement.”
  • Severe exhaustion, dizziness, or sudden anger exactly after maghrib or fajr.
  • Real-World Effects of Regenerative Sihr
  • Victim loses trust in ruqyah and assumes it’s all psychological.
  • Can collapse marriages after every ruqyah attempt.
  • Family begins to fight the healer, blaming him for worsening the case.
  • Victim may become suicidal, believing there is no cure.
  • Financial and mental losses reset monthly, as if someone is “stealing” your life energy again and again.

WHY DO MAGICIANS USE REGENERATIVE SIHR?

  1. Because they want: Long-term control without needing to redo sihr manually.
  2. To make the victim spiritually exhausted and give up.
  3. To test the raaqi’s strength and reveal weaknesses.
  4. To punish families with generational torment.
  5. To protect valuable sihr targets (like a woman marrying someone they hate, or a businessman holding secret barakah).

HOW TO BREAK REGENERATIVE SIHR (BLACKMAGIC IS RENEWED)

  1. Identify and Break the Loop:

Ask: When does it return? (after sleep, fight, sin?)

Identify the cycle and triggers.

    2. Use Targeted Ruqyah Verses Repeatedly:

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102), Surah Yunus (10:81–82), Surah Taha (20:69)

Repeat with deep niyyah of nullifying repetition

    3. Destroy Anchor Points:

Thoroughly search for hidden taweez in drains, rooftops, furniture, clothes, even inside walls or food.

Ruqyah water & oil must be used for cleansing home + body regularly for 21–40 days.

    4. Cut Magician’s Access:

Stop using your real name and mother’s name in public.

Block known people who may be in contact with magicians.

Keep dhikr protections strong  no gaps.

     5. Use Qur’an with Renewal Intentions:

Say: “Ya Allah, every time this sihr tries to return, let Your Word destroy its return.”

Intention makes ruqyah penetrate dimensions and timelines.

Preventing Regeneration in the First Place

Daily adhkaar = firewall

Close emotional portals (like excessive sadness, depression)

Protect personal items like hair, nails, undergarments, photos

Stay away from people who suddenly act “too spiritual” yet shady

Avoid spiritual shortcuts like “energy healers,” amulet sellers, online taweez senders

In Conclusion Regenerative sihr is not invincible it’s just intelligently structured magic. But it is still a slave to Allah’s command, and it only exists by His will. It thrives on your ignorance, fear, and negligence, but dies quickly when you rise in iman, tawheed, dhikr, and spiritual discipline and with the right strategy, sincere du’a, and reliance on Allah Al-Qahhar (The Subduer), even the most regenerative sihr can be permanently crushed.

How Magicians Hide Contracts With Jinn: Insight into the Occult System of Sihr

Magicians who practice black magic (sihr) rely on more than just words or rituals  they form hidden spiritual contracts with jinn and devils to carry out harm. These sihr contracts are the backbone of every successful spell, and they are intentionally concealed to keep them active and undetected. One of the most common methods is through physical contracts written using impure substances like menstrual blood, saffron ink, or even animal parts.

These are often covered in symbols, numbers, star patterns, or corrupted verses and then buried in graveyards, hidden in walls, under tiles, inside pillows, in trees, or submerged in water tanks.

As long as the contract remains hidden, the jinn bound by it continue to obey the magician and torment the victim

Another method used is through coded contracts disguised as taweez (amulets), charms, or jewelry. These are often worn by victims without their knowledge or sewn into their clothing. They contain complex magic squares, jinn names, planetary alignments, and numerology, which act as symbolic agreements between the jinn and the magician. Some even hide contracts inside voodoo-like dolls, wax figures, or sealed metal boxes filled with oils, hair, or nails. These symbolic contracts feed the jinn spiritually and ensure the magic renews itself even when the victim tries to heal.

A more dangerous form of contract is verbal or ritual-based. These involve no writing but are done through secret oaths, sacrificial acts, and devil-worship rituals. The magician may perform actions like slaughtering animals without Allah’s name, walking naked in graveyards, or staying in impurity for 40 nights to “worship” the jinn. These pacts leave no visible trace, making them extremely hard to detect, and they require regular renewal to keep the magic active. This is why many cases of sihr return again and again  because the magician reactivates the contract whenever symptoms start to fade.

Even more sinister is when the contract is hidden in food or drink. Magicians may grind sihr-infused papers, hair, blood, or najasah into the victim’s meals. Once consumed, the jinn forms an internal bond and settles in the victim’s stomach, heart, or reproductive organs.

This is often behind cases of infertility, chronic illness, mental instability, or marriage destruction. In some advanced cases, the magician manipulates the victim emotionally  especially through dreams to unknowingly accept or agree to the contract.

This might look like signing a paper in a dream or accepting something from a stranger. This form of psychological consent creates a powerful doorway for the jinn to enter and stay, especially if the victim admires or depends on the magician.

Islamic scholars like Ibn Qayyim (rahimahullah) have explained that jinn only serve the magician in exchange for major acts of disbelief. The more serious the kufr (disobedience), the stronger the jinn’s loyalty. Yet, no matter how cleverly hidden the sihr is, the light of the Qur’an and the power of sincere du’a can expose and break every contract.

Ruqyah using verses such as Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102), Surah Taha (20:68–70), Surah Yunus (10:81–82), and Surah Isra (17:81) weakens the jinn and forces them to flee. Victims often begin to see dreams or feel sudden insights pointing to the contract’s location. Once it is found, it must be destroyed  burned while reciting Qur’anic verses and followed with daily adhkar, tawbah, and a clean connection to Allah.Magicians work in secrecy, but Allah is Al-Lateef and Al-Khabeer,  the Subtle, the All-Aware. No matter how deep or hidden a sihr contract is, Allah exposes it for those who trust Him and seek His help. As Allah says in Surah An-Nisa (4:76), “Indeed, the plot of Shaytaan is weak.” No spell, pact, or curse can stand in the face of tawheed, du’a, and divine light.

WHY MAGICIANS RENEW SIHR ON SPECIFIC DAYS AND FESTIVALS

In many cultures and occult traditions, black magicians carefully choose the timing of their rituals. This is not random they deliberately align their acts of sihr with specific moon phases, days of the week, and religious festivals to maximize the influence of the jinn they work with.

From an Islamic perspective, the timing itself has no real power  only Allah controls benefit or harm  but magicians believe that certain days amplify their spells because of long-established pagan and occult traditions.

  1. MOON PHASES AND THE RENEWAL OF SIHR
  2. Magicians often renew sihr during:
  3. Full Moon (Purnima) – They believe the heightened light and gravitational pull make it easier for jinn to travel and for their energy to “carry” the spell to the victim.
  4. No Moon / Dark Moon (Amavasya) – Associated with darkness, secrecy, and the absence of divine light in many occult systems, making it a preferred time for curses, bindings, and harm.
  5. 3.Specific Lunar Nights – In some magical calendars, the 13th, 14th, and 15th nights are targeted, coinciding with white magic/black magic rituals in paganism and witchcraft.
  6. They may fast, chant incantations, burn foul substances, or perform animal sacrifices at these times to “feed” their jinn and renew the binding on the victim.

SIHR DURING FESTIVALS

  1. In South Asia, Africa, and other multi-faith societies, magicians sometimes choose other religious festival days to carry out or renew sihr.
  2. Examples include: Diwali, Navratri, or Purnima nights – Using the widespread lighting of lamps or collective fasting as a cover for occult rituals.
  3. Good Friday, Christmas Eve, or Easter – Timed with certain pre-Christian pagan solstice traditions that were absorbed into modern festivals.
  4. Local temple feasts or processions – Where large gatherings make it easier to perform unnoticed acts, plant cursed objects, or collect personal items of the target.
  5. These timings are chosen because they:
  6. Distract communities – Festivals mean people are busy, joyful, and less guarded.
  7. Mask occult activities – Sounds, smells, and gatherings make rituals blend into the environment.
  8. Exploit spiritual negligence – Some people lower their guard in remembrance of Allah during such events.

Why People Say “Don’t Go Out” on These Days

  1. In many villages and towns, elders warn not to go out during certain nights (especially amavasya, purnima, or big festival nights). While some of this is superstition, it also has roots in real patterns:
  2. Magicians and occultists are more active during these times.
  3. They may roam to collect soil from footprints, hair, clothing threads, or nail clippings to use in sihr.
  4. In some regions, cursed food or drink is deliberately left outside for people or animals to consume.
  5. Islamic View and Protection
  6. While these timings hold meaning for magicians, believers must remember:
  7. “And they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah.”
  8. (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102)
  9. Our protection lies in being aware of the methods and timing of sihr, we can take proactive steps to block the path of magicians and strengthen our reliance on Allah.

If symptoms are consistent, medical tests show nothing, and you experience unusual spiritual reactions (like choking, burning, shaking, or fear during Qur’an recitation), then sihr is possible.
However, Islam teaches to rule out medical reasons first, then proceed with ruqyah.
True sihr often shows spiritual patterns, not just physical ones.

Yes — even strong believers can be tested.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself was affected by sihr for a short time (Sahih Bukhari 5763).
But the difference is: the believer’s sihr weakens quickly and never overpowers their faith.
Ruqyah and tawheed break it faster because Allah protects sincere hearts.

Because healing is from Allah’s will, not from the reciter or verses alone.
Sometimes:

  • Allah delays healing to increase patience and reward
  • The person still has fear, doubt, or attachment
  • The source of sihr (like buried taweez) is not yet destroyed
Consistency, repentance, and trust in Allah make ruqyah powerful over time.

Yes, waswasah (satanic whispers) can create exaggerated fear or doubt.
Sihr is real, but shaytan uses psychological tricks to make a person think everything is sihr.
If you constantly overthink, feel paranoid, or suspect everyone that’s waswas, not sihr.
Balance is key: don’t deny sihr, but don’t blame it for everything.

Yes one of the goals of sihr is to weaken the connection between the slave and Allah.

  • Victims may suddenly:Feel lazy in salah
  • Hate ruqyah recitation
  • Experience anger or tears when Qur’an plays
These are classic signs of sihr that targets faith and heart, not just the body.

Yes.
This is one of the most common forms called Sihr at-Tafreeq (separation sihr).
Allah mentions it in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102

“They learned from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife.”

It causes misunderstandings, hatred, and emotional withdrawal but it can be undone completely with Qur’an and patience.

Yes, some sihr is designed to block progress, money, or career by surrounding a person with negative energy or jinn interference. But when one’s heart reconnects with Allah and gives regular sadaqah, the blockage lifts.
Remember: No sihr can stop what Allah has decreed.

Because the Qur’an agitates the jinn carrying the sihr.
They react through pain, heat, fear, or resistance making the person feel temporarily worse.
But this is a sign of progress, not failure.
It means the ruqyah is working and Allah’s light is attacking the darkness.

Yes, some sihr is multi-layered or disguised under strong jinn deception.
That’s why raqis often seek Allah’s guidance through du’a and istiqamah (consistency).
Sometimes Allah reveals the hidden sihr through dreams, signs, or patient’s visions.

Yes, a person may have sihr of illness, fear, and blockage all together.
Magicians sometimes tie several spells, each commanded by different jinn.
In such cases, ruqyah must target every layer, not just one symptom.

Yes, jealousy doesn’t always come from enemies.
Sometimes it’s from close friends or relatives who silently envy your blessings.
Prophet ﷺ said:

“Beware of envy, for it consumes good deeds like fire consumes wood.” (Abu Dawood)

The strongest shield against sihr is tawheed pure belief that only Allah controls harm and benefit.
When the heart fully relies on Allah and stops fearing creation, sihr loses its power.
As Allah says in Surah Yunus 10:107:

“If Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but Him.”

This conviction itself burns the roots of sihr.

The Prophet ﷺ taught powerful adhkaar that act as spiritual barriers:

  • Ayat al-Kursi (2:255) – after every salah and before sleep
  • Last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285–286) – every night
  • Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Naas (3 Quls) – thrice in morning and evening
  • “Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma’a ismihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i wa huwa as-sami’ul-‘alim” – 3 times morning & evening
  • Morning and evening adhkaar from authentic Sunnah (found in Hisn al-Muslim)

If a taweez, knot, or buried object is found:

  1. Do not touch it with bare hands.

  2. Read Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Naas over it.

  3. Untie knots (if any) while reciting Surah Al-Falaq.

  4. Burn it completely, then bury the ashes in a clean place.

  5. Keep reciting Qur’an over water and pour it where the sihr was found.

Yes, many ruqyah cases report that Allah shows the place of hidden sihr through dreams.
When the victim or raaqi prays sincerely for guidance, angels may reveal where it’s buried, hidden, or tied. Dreams showing fire burning, ropes untied, or water washing something away often symbolize sihr being destroyed.

  • Recite Surah Al-Baqarah in the house every 3 days.
  • Prophet ﷺ said: “Shaytan does not enter a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.”
  • Avoid music, immoral shows, and hanging faces/statues that invite shayateen.
  • Keep adhan (call to prayer) playing softly in the home.
  • Place Qur’an recitation or ruqyah audio in empty rooms occasionally.
  • Keep your home spiritually clean  no taweez, charms, or amulets.

Self-ruqyah strengthens spiritual immunity.
When a person recites Qur’an on themselves with ikhlas (sincerity) and yaqeen (certainty), it creates a shield that no magician can penetrate.
Regular self-ruqyah:

  • Weakens hidden jinns
  • Purifies the heart
  • Breaks continuous sihr
  • Builds a light barrier around the soul
  • Burning sensations or nausea followed by calmness
  • Feeling of lightness after intense reactions
  • Seeing fire, light, or rain in dreams
  • Yawning, burping, vomiting, or sweating during recitation
  • Sudden urge to repent or cry sincerely
All of these are signs that Allah’s mercy is cleansing you.

Yes. Fasting weakens jinn and strengthens the soul.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Shaytan flows through the son of Adam like blood, so narrow his passage with hunger.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Fasting with ruqyah multiplies the effect  especially Mondays, Thursdays, and white days (13th–15th of lunar month).

Yes, if recited with sincerity, tawheed, and consistency.
Verses like Surah Al-A’raf 7:117–122, Taha 20:68–70, and Yunus 10:81–82 directly target sihr energy. When repeated with intention, the jinn carrying sihr feels heat, burns, and is forced to flee or confess the location of the sihr.

Until:

  • Reactions stop completely
  • No relapse in symptoms
  • Dreams become peaceful
  • Qur’anic recitation feels soothing, not painful
Depending on the case, this may take days, weeks, or months consistency is key.
  • Visiting magicians or amulet-makers
  • Using “mixed” taweez with unknown words
  • Listening to music or engaging in sin
  • Losing patience after temporary relief
  • Talking excessively about sihr and fearing it
Remember: talk less about the problem, focus more on dhikr and Qur’an.

Yes.
Sadaqah extinguishes calamities. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Give charity, for it removes evil and wards off an ill death.” (Tirmidhi)
Regular charity given secretly for Allah’s sake can dissolve sihr energy and bring unseen protection.

Only if spiritual negligence returns.
If a person stops praying, abandons adhkaar, or lives in sin again, the jinn can exploit that weakness. Protection must be daily, not occasional.
Think of it like a spiritual armor if you take it off, you become exposed again.

Yes, both are Sunnah remedies.

  • Recite Qur’an over olive oil or black seed oil (Nigella sativa).
  • Apply it to body (especially chest, stomach, and forehead).
  • Also place few drops in the navel and rub on feet before sleep.
  • Prophet ﷺ said:“Use this black seed regularly, for it is a cure for every disease except death.” (Bukhari)
  • Recite Qur’an around them or over water they drink and bathe with.
  • Encourage collective dhikr in the home.
  • Keep the environment full of adhan, salah, and Qur’an recitation.
  • Avoid arguments, anger, or hopelessness jinn feed on emotional chaos.
  • Have one spiritually strong member lead ruqyah for the rest.

The combination of three powers:

  1. Faith (Tawheed) — knowing only Allah can heal.

  2. Ruqyah (Qur’an) — using His words as the cure.

  3. Righteous lifestyle — staying in obedience and purity.

When these three unite, no sihr can ever return because the light of iman burns stronger than any dark magic.

Because ruqyah removes the effect, but not always the root cause. If:

  • The heart hasn’t turned fully back to Allah
  • The house remains unprotected (with music, evil eye exposure, or no adhkaar)
  • The jinn’s covenant hasn’t been revoked then the sihr may regenerate.
  • Surah Yunus (10:81-82) – nullifies the magician’s work
  • Surah Al-Baqarah (2:102-103) – exposes and breaks hidden sihr
  • Surah Al-A’raf (7:117-122) – confronts jinn and false illusions
  • Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:97-98) – protection from whispers of jinn
  • Surah Al-Isra (17:82) – healing and mercy for believers
  • Daily Morning and Evening Adhkaar
  • Reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every salah
  • Surah Al-Baqarah once every 3 days in the home
  • Keeping taharah (purity) at all times
  • Avoiding sins, anger, or despair, which attract jinn
  • Strengthening connection with Allah through salah and tawbah

Yes, if a jinn network or spiritual contract still connects the victim to the magician. But once the link is destroyed and the person maintains strong protection, even distant attempts become powerless, as Allah says in Surah Al-Imran 3:160:

“If Allah helps you, none can overcome you.”

In some cases, yes.
If sihr was done on ancestors, the spiritual link can pass down through generations, especially if the family continues certain sins, innovations, or uses objects tied to old sihr.
Ruqyah in such cases must include family repentance and breaking ancestral pacts through the Qur’an.
